A Charter boat is one you don't have to worry about. No boating license needed. No worries about knowing the lake and what hazards to avoid. Just bring you and your family or friends, food and drink of your choice, and relax on the boat while your captain takes care of everything. Please arrive 15 minutes early to board the boat and get settled in.
Great question. The best reason is, I AM AWESOME! Don't believe me - just ask. But more importantly, we want you to enjoy the lake without having to worry about anything. Lake Winnipesaukee is a natural formed lake created by glaciers several thousand years ago. To preserve its beauty and wonder, New Hampshire Lake Management tries to keep the lake as natural as possible. Therefore, they do not remove naturally forming obstacles in the lake. This means that out in the middle of the water there could be a rock just below the surface that can damage the boat. And if you are not familiar with the lake, that can mean costly repairs for you. With an experienced captain you don't need to worry about anything. We take all the risk; you get all the reward.
There are a couple of options for boarding the boat. Once you book, please send an email with your preferred pick-up location.
1) I can pick you up at the Public Boat Docks next to Weirs Beach. There is plenty of parking available around the area. This is my primary pick-up and drop-off location. The link below will take you right to the spot. It's the docks right down the stairs from here.

2) If you are staying at a hotel that has a dock on the lake, I can come a pick you up and drop you off there. No need to drive anywhere. I just need to know which hotel.
3) If you are renting a house with a dock on the lake, I can come and pick you up and drop you off there. No need to drive anywhere. I just need to know the address.
NOTE: If we are picking you up and dropping you off at your own dock, you must prepay for gas. NO SUNSET CRUISE PICKUPS. You must come to the public docks at Weirs Beach for Sunset Cruises. (price of gas varies depending on where you are on the lake)
While the boat is rated for more people, we limit the number of guest to 10. If you have more than 10 adults it can get crowded. On a few rare occasions we can go up to 12, but this is not recommended. If you have larger parties, please reach out to discuss your options.
We offer Half day, Full day, and Sunset Charters. Please see the booking page for info and booking dates.
Prices vary. Do you want a half day on the lake or a full day? Do you want to rent a tube for water sports? Do you need to rent a cooler w/ice? All of these options are available on the booking page.
Yes. but you have options. Fuel cost are separate form rental cost. When you board the boat there will be a full tank of fuel. plenty for a full day on the water. We offer 2 options for fuel:
1) You can prepay for fuel at the beginning of the trip and stay out on the lake longer. (Current prices are $80-$120* for a half day, $150-$180* for a full day) This may be a little more than if you paid at the end, but it gives you an extra 30-45 minutes on the lake instead of sitting at a gas dock waiting to fuel up. (*Prices subject to change based on current fuel prices on the lake.)
2) We can come in early (30-45 minutes early depending on the day) and stop at the gas dock and you pay to refuel the boat at that time. This option may save you a few bucks, but you will lose some time on the lake.
NOTE 1: For pickup and drop offs at your dock you must prepay for gas. An additional charge for gas may apply depending on how far for Weirs Beach Public docks you are.
NOTE 2: The price of gas is included in all Fall Leaf Peeping Charters ONLY.
Only if you have one you want to bring. We have life jackets onboard for all passengers. if you are bringing small children, and you have a life jacket that fits them, we encourage you to bring it to ensure a proper fit for the little ones. Please ensure any life jacket you bring, If you chose to do so, is USGA approved.
Tube Rentals are $35 per rental.
Cooler w/ice rental is $35 per rental.
YES! Part of renting a boat with a captain is you don't have to worry about who's going to not drink so they can drive the boat. We want you to have the best time on the lake, so bring your beverages of choice (as long as its legal), sit back, relax, and enjoy your day.
Note: Please drink responsibly. YOU MUST BE 21 YEARS OR OLDER TO CONSUME ALCOHOL. NO UNDERAGE CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOL IS ALLOWED ABOARD THE BOAT! NO ILLEGAL DRUGS!
Our Cancellation policy is as follows: You may cancel at any time. If you cancel 14 days or more before your scheduled charter date you will receive a full refund of your deposit minus a $10 processing fee. If you cancel 7-13 days before you scheduled charter, you will receive a refund of half of your deposit. If you cancel less than 7 days before you scheduled charter, you will lose your deposit. If you need to reschedule, we will do our best to reschedule you to a different date if one is available. This is the lake and weather happens. Most of the time, the weather passes quickly and is not a concern. But, if bad weather threatens the safety of the passengers, crew, or the boat we will not go out. (This is at the discretion of the captain) If we have to cancel due to weather, every effort will be made to reschedule you to a later date. If we cannot reschedule you, you will receive a full refund minus a $10 processing fee.
Yes. This is a Veteran led company. And we understand the sacrifices our Veterans and First Responders make. So, for all veterans, police officers, fire fighters, nurses, doctors and first responders we gladly offer a 10% discount off the price of the boat rental.
(10% discount does not apply to fuel cost or add on items.)

Back for 2024! These are 2 Hour tours around the lake to see all the beautiful Fall Foliage. You can take pictures or just relax and take in the scenery. So, grab a nice warm sweatshirt or your favorite jacket, your beverage of choice and relax and enjoy the tour.
(NOTE 1: Fuel cost for the Fall Foliage Tour is included in the rental price.)
(NOTE 2: While we hope and expect the Fall Foliage is BEAUTIFUL and SPECTACULAR, There is no guarantee what Mother Nature will bring.)
